Terms and Conditions

About these terms

These Terms and Conditions are the agreement between you and us covering your use of OnePlace.

By creating an account, or by using the OnePlace app or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use OnePlace.

Please read section 11 (Refunds and cancellations) and section 19 (Limitation of liability) carefully. They affect your rights.

2

Who we are

OnePlace is operated by MZ-Technology. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean MZ-Technology. "You" means the person using OnePlace.

You can reach us at [email protected].

3

Who can use OnePlace

To use OnePlace you must:

  • be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher
  • be legally able to enter into a contract
  • use a payment method you are authorised to use
  • not be barred from using our service under any applicable law

If we reasonably believe you do not meet these requirements, we may close your account.

4

Your account

Creating an account. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. One person may hold one account.

Keeping it secure. You are responsible for your password and for everything that happens on your account. Do not share your login details. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.

Codes are your responsibility once delivered. Treat a gift card code like cash. Once a code has been shown to you in the app, keeping it confidential is your responsibility. We cannot replace a code that someone else has redeemed because it was shared or left visible.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time — see oneplace-platform.com/delete-account.

What OnePlace is

We are a reseller, not an issuer.

OnePlace is a marketplace. We buy digital products from authorised suppliers and resell them to you. We do not issue gift cards, we do not operate mobile networks, and we do not run the games, stores or services the products are used with.

Through OnePlace you can buy:

  • Gift cards and vouchers for gaming, streaming, shopping, software and other categories
  • Prepaid and virtual payment card vouchers
  • Cryptocurrency vouchers
  • Charity gift cards
  • Mobile airtime top-ups

What this means for you. Our responsibility is to deliver a valid, unused code or a completed top-up for the product you ordered. Once delivered, how that product works is governed by the terms of the brand that issued it — including its expiry date, the countries it works in, and what it can be spent on.

If a brand changes its terms, discontinues a product, or refuses to honour a valid code for reasons outside our control, we will help you take it up with them, but we do not control their decision.

6

Third-party brands and trademarks

All brand names, logos and trademarks shown on OnePlace belong to their respective owners.

OnePlace is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in partnership with any of the brands whose products we resell. We display their names and logos only to identify the products available for purchase.

7

Prices and currency

Prices are set by the product issuer and by our suppliers, and can change at any time without notice.

Many products are priced in a currency other than your own. Where we show a converted price in your local currency, that figure is an indication only. The amount you are actually charged depends on the exchange rate and any fees applied by your bank, card issuer or mobile money provider at the moment of payment, and may differ from the figure shown.

The price you see at checkout is the price that applies to that order. Any promotional pricing applies only while it is displayed.

8

Placing an order

When you submit an order you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept your order and deliver the code or complete the top-up.

We may decline an order. We may refuse or cancel any order, before or after payment, including where:

  • the product is out of stock or has been withdrawn by the issuer
  • the price or product description was displayed incorrectly
  • we suspect fraud or unauthorised use of a payment method — see section 14
  • we are unable to verify your identity where verification is required
  • fulfilling the order would breach any law or any supplier's terms

If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund you in full.

9

Payment

9.1 How you can pay

Payments are processed by Stripe, Paystack and Safaricom M-PESA. Available methods depend on your country.

Your card details are entered directly into the payment provider's secure interface. We never see or store your card number, CVV or PIN.

9.2 Authorisation

By paying, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method and that the funds are legitimately yours.

9.3 M-PESA payments (Kenya)

M-PESA payments are completed by approving an STK Push prompt on your phone and entering your M-PESA PIN. We never see your PIN.

Once an M-PESA payment is confirmed and your order has been fulfilled, it cannot be reversed through M-PESA. If something has gone wrong with your order, contact us at [email protected] and we will resolve it under section 11.

Safaricom's own terms apply to the M-PESA transaction itself.

9.4 Failed payments

We are not responsible for a payment failing because of insufficient funds, an expired or blocked card, an incorrect PIN, a limit set by your bank or mobile money provider, or an outage at your payment provider.

If money leaves your account but your order does not complete, contact us straight away. See section 11.2.

10

Delivery

Digital products are delivered inside the OnePlace app, normally within seconds of payment being confirmed. You will receive a push notification when your order is ready.

Every code you have bought stays available under My Orders.

We do not deliver by email or SMS. If you receive a message claiming to be a OnePlace code by email or text, treat it as fraudulent and report it to us.

Very occasionally an order takes longer because a supplier or network is slow. If your order has not completed within 24 hours, contact us and we will resolve it or refund you.

11

Refunds and cancellations

Digital codes are delivered instantly and cannot be returned once issued. This section sets out exactly when we will and will not refund.

11.1 Immediate delivery

By placing an order you ask us to deliver your product immediately, and you accept that once a code has been delivered to you, you can no longer cancel the order or claim a cooling-off period.

11.2 When we will refund or replace

We will replace your product or give you a full refund, at your choice, if:

  • your code was never delivered
  • your code is invalid, does not work, or is rejected by the issuer
  • your code had already been redeemed before it reached you
  • your top-up never reached the mobile network, even though payment was taken
  • you were charged more than once for the same order
  • you received a different product from the one you ordered
  • we cancelled your order after taking payment

Report the problem within 30 days of your order and we will investigate. If we need to check with the issuer or supplier, we will tell you and keep you updated.

11.3 When we will not refund

We cannot refund where:

  • you changed your mind after a valid code was delivered
  • you entered the wrong phone number for a top-up
  • you bought a code for the wrong country or region — for example a US card for a UK account
  • you bought the wrong product by mistake
  • you shared your code, lost it, or someone else redeemed it
  • the code has expired because you did not use it in time
  • the issuer closed, suspended or restricted your account with them
  • you breached these Terms

11.4 How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Card refunds normally take 5–10 business days to appear. M-PESA refunds are normally faster.

12

Getting your order details right

Check before you confirm. Digital products are delivered instantly and are region-locked, so mistakes usually cannot be undone.

Before you pay, check:

  • the phone number and country code for a top-up, digit by digit
  • the country or region of a gift card, and that it matches the account you intend to use it with
  • the product and amount

Once a top-up has reached a mobile network, it belongs to whoever holds that number and cannot be recovered.

13

Things you must not do

You must not:

  • use OnePlace for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, terrorist financing, or handling the proceeds of crime
  • use a payment method that is not yours, or that you are not authorised to use
  • buy products for commercial resale without our written agreement
  • create multiple accounts, or create an account after we have closed one of yours
  • give false information, or impersonate anyone
  • attempt to exploit a pricing error, promotional error or technical fault
  • use bots, scrapers or automated tools against our service
  • interfere with the security or operation of OnePlace, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it
  • reverse-engineer or copy any part of the app or website
14

Fraud prevention and verification

Digital codes are a common target for fraud. To protect you, ourselves and our suppliers:

  • we may hold an order while we run security checks
  • we may ask you to verify your identity — including proof of identity or proof of ownership of the payment method — before we release an order
  • we may limit the value or number of orders you can place
  • we may cancel any order and refund it where we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment use
  • we may suspend or close an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently

We will not unreasonably delay a legitimate order, and where we can explain a decision we will.

15

Suspension and closing accounts

You can close your account at any time — see oneplace-platform.com/delete-account.

We may suspend or close your account, with notice where it is reasonable to give it, if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful use, or if we are required to by law or by a payment provider.

If we close your account, any completed orders remain valid — you keep the codes you paid for. We will refund anything you have paid for but not received.

16

Availability of the service

We work to keep OnePlace available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, technical faults, supplier outages and network problems can all interrupt it.

Product availability varies by country and changes constantly. A product being listed does not guarantee it is available to you. We may add, change or withdraw products at any time.

17

Our intellectual property

The OnePlace name, logo, app, website, design and content belong to us and are protected by law. You may use them only as needed to use the service normally.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of OnePlace, or create anything derived from it.

18

Disclaimers

OnePlace is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these Terms.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any product will always be available, or that a third-party brand will honour a code in circumstances outside our control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

19

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, and subject to section 18:

Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We are not liable for:

  • loss of profit, business, opportunity, or anticipated savings
  • indirect or consequential loss of any kind
  • the acts, decisions or failures of a third-party brand, mobile network, supplier or payment provider
  • loss of a code caused by your sharing it, losing it, or failing to keep it secure
  • a product failing because you bought the wrong region, wrong product, or gave the wrong number
20

Your responsibility to us

If we suffer loss, cost or a claim because you breached these Terms, used OnePlace unlawfully, or used a payment method you were not authorised to use, you agree to cover that loss.

21

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for failing to meet our obligations where the cause is outside our reasonable control — including network or power failures, supplier or payment provider outages, cyber attacks, government action, natural events or civil disruption.

22

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as our service or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.

If we make a significant change, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use OnePlace after that means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you can close your account.

23

Resolving a dispute

Please contact us first. Almost every problem is resolved quickly and directly. Email [email protected] with your order reference and a description of the issue, and we will respond within 2 business days.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim in the courts of that country.

24

General

If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest continues to apply.

If we do not enforce a right immediately, that does not mean we have given it up.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about your use of OnePlace.

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another business, for example if our business is sold. Your rights are not affected. You may not transfer yours without our agreement.

These Terms are between you and us only. No one else can enforce them.
